The Guilhem Rosé - Pays de l'Hérault is a French wine with an intense but pleasant aroma of fruits with a great tone of freshness. The grapes used are syrah and carignan, the eccentric taste is created by using purely the fruits in the vinification process. This gives the wine a medium body with a juicy structure, rich fruit tones and elegant spicy taste. Serve with: salads, vegetables or fish courses.
This Rosé is diverse, he combines perfectly with rich salads, vegetable dishes and Provencal seafood.
This saignée-rosé (made from the first runaway juice) is a blend with equal parts of syrah and carignan and was vinified purely on the fruit.
About: Moulin de Gassac
In the beautiful hinterland, in the famous Gassac valley, the vineyards of the Guibert family are located. In addition to the grand-cru' wines of Mas de Daumas Gassac, also the affordable quality wines from Moulin de Gassac have an excellent reputation. Affectionately these wines are characterized as "vins comme autrefois" because of the rich, slightly spicy flavor that is a reminiscent of the past.
Wine production has been for ages the economic engine of the Languedoc region. Because of the enormous wine production in Languedoc, the region has its name ‘the French wine barn’. The high production is possible because of the relative constant climate. The overproduction of wine made it possible for the vineyards to expand their territories. The latest couple of years, there are a lot of vineyards that are experimenting with new vinification techniques and new grapes. This given fact gives this region in France a huge amount of excellent wine producers.
